A delightful family picnic spot with playground, easy access boatramp to launch canoes, kayaks, etc at high-tide. Access is at the end of Manuka Road, Glenfield. Some easy
bushwalks are at the upper end of the reserve and give you a delightful break from suburbia.
A coastal walkway all the way down to Kaipatiki Bridge has its entrance next to the boatramp road and provides an energetic walk through fern glades, some natives and provides views
down Hellyers Creek. If you walk up to the top part of the playground area, there is a wide walkway that takes you into a secluded grassed area which is perfect for picnics, playing with the
kids, or just enjoying the open space. Carrying on up the grassed picnic area, you will find the entrance to a bushwalk that will take you through to Lynn Road where you will meet
up with the Glenfield Coastal Walkway. There are several side tracks that connect up to local roads on the way - great to explore.
