The main entrance is between 210 and 212 Onewa road, Birkenhead. The track follows the stream down across a waterfall and into the valley
floor where one footbridge leads to Hinemoa Street, and the other leads to Little Shoal Bay.
The track to Little Shoal Bay crosses a tributary then traverses a ridge at the foot of Valley Road. Beyond the ponds area, the track
circuits the wetlands before passing next to the playing fields opposite Little Shoal Bay heading on to Wilding Ave.
